Brioche Hat for All - 2 sessions

Choose Your Adventure Brioche by Amy Gunderson includes two hat patterns are designed to help you get the hang of brioche knitting in the round! The first is basic two-color brioche throughout and will help you get used to the ins and outs of the technique. The second introduces a simple faux-cable pattern, and will teach you how to increase and decrease in pattern.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

        • Level:  Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off! You've conquered the basics of knitting and are awesome at knitting in the round. You are cool with yarn-overs.
        • We provide:  the expertise.
        • You bring:  Yourself, your needles (circular 16" size US 6), stitch markers, a copy of the pattern (available via Ravelry in-store), and approximately 220 yards of two colors of DK weight yarn - we recommend Uncommon Thread Heavenly DK.
        • Class length:  2 1/2 hours per session, 5 hours total.

        Class meets on Wednesday, September 30 and October 7 at 6:30 PM

        Online participants will:
        • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
        • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
        You may be asked to mask. Thank you for your understanding.

        Last minute cancellations
        Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

        Class Credits
        Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

        Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

        Class Materials
        All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
        Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
