Pembina Backpack - 3 sessions

The Pembina Backpack is perfect for all your everyday expeditions, providing a stylish and functional design - back to school chaos be damned! This backpack offers two pockets for either interior or exterior storage, keep the necessities handy while also stow away your valuables.

Featuring a zipper-free, drawstring and grommet closure to keep your stuff secure, while still allowing convenient access. Plus, a heavy-duty snap for extra strength and durability! A compact size so you aren't carrying your weight in books and things.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level:  Very-Confident Beginner. You know how to thread a machine and sew a straight line. You’ve made your fair share of tote bags and have sewn a few zipper bags (Sewing Basics, Sewing II, Zip It Bag, Canvas Tote...). 
  • We provide: Tools, machines, thread, expertise, and encouragement!
  • You bring:  Yourself, a copy of the pattern (available in store), exterior and interior fabric, and notions per the pattern. Don't forget we offer 15% off all supplies for our workshops.
  • Class length: Meets thrice. 3 hours for each session.

Class meets on Thursday, October 9, 16, and 23 at 6PM

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
