Summer Vacation Back-to-School Backpack (appropriate for advanced beginner or intermediate stitchers):
Meets every morning from 9 AM until 12:30 PM. Students will use a sewing machine to get ready to head back to school! Why go back with the same backpack everyone else is carrying when you can create your own? Three fabrics, two zippers, padded shoulder straps and handle. The perfect size for your books, your computer, your favorite unicorn binder. This project is challenging and will help students gain confidence installing zippers, using adjustable hardware, apply interfacing and padding. If time permits we will make a coordinating tech sleeve and pencil case.
Limited to 5 students (ages 9-15), students should have previous sewing machine experience. Completing Sewing I, Youth School of Sewing during the academic year or equivalent machine sewing use.
- We provide: materials, tools, pattern, machines, and instruction
- You bring: yourself and your ideas
- Class length: 3 1/2 hours a day all week long, for a total of 17 1/2 hours.
Camp meets Monday through Friday, August 17-21 & August 24-28 at 9 AM.

Unused yarn, pre-cut fat-quarter bundles and un-opened notions, in their original condition, may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. We do not cover shipping costs for exchanges.

Non-returnable items:
Cut to order fabrics, all books and patterns, gift cards, classes as well as downloadable products. These can be replaced if damaged in shipping.
