Twined Basket

Twined Basket

Makers of all skill levels can dip their toes into weaving without getting overwhelmed by looms and tools. This beautiful rope bowl is created using a simple twining basket-making technique. A classic shape with lots of texture, it makes a lovely gift or vessel for your notions.

Limited to 18 students (16 yrs of age or older); 50% enrollment required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level:  adventurous beginner, you feel good holding a needle in your hand.
  • We provide:  the supplies to make this bowl and basic tools like scissors!
  • You bring:  yourself and your enthusiasm
  • Class length: approximately 2.5 hours
Online participants will:
  • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
  • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
