Scrollwork Hat or Cowl Cable Knit
Scrollwork Hat or Cowl Cable Knit
Ready to tackle cables? This interwoven cable knit design will challenge you and truly help you build your knitting skills. You can knit the hat or the cowl! Either is fine but we encourage you to knit the ribbing prior to our workshop or you might not even learn to knit cables! Like many Brooklyn Tweed patterns this one is both charted and written so if you are looking to stretch your pattern reading skills this makes a great foray into reading charts.
The pattern is designed for worsted weight yarn so hopefully you'll make lots of progress in class.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off. You know how to knit in the round (you've taken Circular Knitting) - this is NOT your first hat.
- We provide: space and expertise
- You bring: Yourself, a copy of Brooklyn Tweed's pattern (available for download), your needles (size US7 16" circular needles), stitch markers, and approximately 160yards of worsted weight yarn (for smallest size hat and up to 420 yards for large cowl) - this pattern was designed for BT Shelter.
- We offer 15% off supplies purchased for any of our classes.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours
You may be asked to mask. Thank you for your understanding.
