Brioche Basics
Brioche Basics
Every quarter we attempt to find the perfect introduction to brioche. We are (fairly) confident that this is the one! The Brioche Basics Cowl is for anyone that knows the basics of knitting: casting on, knit, purl, and binding off! We believe YOU can make this! An awesome way to show off variegated, hand-dyed yarns like Manos del Uruguay Maxima or Malabrigo Rios. Pair with a solid/semi-solid yarn and you'll create a reversible cowl that really pops.
The pattern is designed for worsted weight yarn so hopefully you'll find this knits up quickly.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off. You know how to knit in the round (you've taken Circular Knitting).
- We provide: space and expertise
- You bring: Yourself, a copy of Tori Snyder's pattern (available for download), your needles (size US7 16" circular needles), stitch markers, and approximately 145 yards of worsted weight yarn - 2 high contrast colors.
- We offer 15% off supplies purchased for any of our classes.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours
