We Care Wednesday: Boston Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights

In January 2017 we launched our We Care Wednesday initiative. By donating 5% of our sales each Wednesday, we were able to raise thousands of dollars for Greater Boston non-profits. This kind of targeted weekly giving is just another way we can focus our community-based business on doing good in all the ways we can.

Supporting non-profits that continue doing the essential work needed in our communities is important to gather here and we think it's important to the people that shop, take classes, and spend time here. This August our We Care Wednesday recipient is: The Boston Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights. The BCRHHR's mission is "to provide holistic health care coordinated with social services and legal aid for asylum seekers, refugees, survivors of torture, and their families."

We encourage the community to consider volunteering for the BCRHHR. We know many of you are wondering what else you can do to help refugees in the US and how you might amplify the message that all are welcome here - what better way than to volunteer your time? We also hope you'll be a part of the Welcome Blanket project!
