Framed Quilt Block

We’ll make a Half Square Triangle quilt block, which we’ll finish by mounting it onto a prepared canvas frame. That way you’ll be able to hang it on the wall seamlessly into your art collection! 

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level: Intermediate–accurate cutting and sewing skill is necessary to successfully construct this block. Previous quilted projects required.
  • We provide: The pattern, quilt batting & muslin, studio space, tools, and expertise.
  • You bring: 2 fat quarters: or 1 FQ background plus SIX 3x3" scraps for the triangles). 1/4 yard light or medium weight fusible interfacing. One 8x8" stretched canvas frame. Don't forget that we offer 15% off all supplies for any of our workshops.
  • Class length: 2 1/2 hours
Online participants will:
  • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
  • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
You may be asked to mask. Thank you for your understanding.
*Some Sewing Classes may be scheduled for our downstairs studio. Please contact us if you would prefer not to navigate stairs and we will switch studios.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
