Hapkerchief Cowl - 2 sessions

gather here Classes

You all know how much we love Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift yarn and we were searching for something fun and portable to knit and wear this spring. This multicolor cowl features lace with a garter stitch background and is worked bottom up and in the
round. The lace section may be worked from either charted or written instructions. You'll learn new techniques and have the opportunity to play with color combinations.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

        • Level:  Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off! You've conquered the basics of knitting and are awesome at knitting in the round. You are cool with wrapping and turning.
        • We provide:  the expertise, space, and support.
        • You bring:  Yourself, your needles (US 9 / 5.5mm circular needle, 60cm / 24” length (for cast on), US 8 / 5mm circular needle, 60cm / 24” length (for lower portion of cowl), US 8 / 5mm circular needle, 40cm / 16” length (for upper portion of cowl), stitch markers, a copy of the pattern, and approximately MC: 90 yds / 82m, CC1: 20 yds / 18m, CC2: 45 yds / 41m, CC3: 20 yds / 18m in fingering weight yarns - we recommend Jamieson's Spindrift.
        • Class length:  2 hours per session, 4 hours total.

Class meets on Saturdays, March 30 and April 6 at 1:30 PM
