Ursa Sweater- meets 4 times

We met Jacqueline this summer when she dropped by the shop while in Boston for a wedding. We knew immediately that we had to knit the Ursa. What better way than to do it with you? URSA is a bear of a sweater — chunky, bold, snuggly, fierce. With simple construction and interesting detailing, this cropped bulky weight pullover is a quick and enjoyable knit. The sweater is constructed from the top-down with raglan shaping for the sleeves and optional horizontal bust darts in 3 cup sizes. The pattern includes directions to try it on as you work and notations to help you tweak the size (including the length, if cropped isn’t your thing!) according to your preference.

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 50% enrollment required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  VERY adventurous beginner - Intermediate. You know how to knit, purl, cast on and cast off. You feel pretty confident increasing and decreasing.
• We provide: moral support, expertise, measurement techniques, and great company
• You bring: a copy of the pattern (available instore) and bulky weight yarn (designed for Echoview Fiber Mill’s Ranger Bulky but would also be awesome in Quince & Co’s Puffin or BT’s Quarry), 32” or 40” circular needles in a size 10.5 plus DPN if not using magic loop for the sleeves, stitch holders or scrap yarn, a darning needle, and stitch markers (3 contrasting stitch markers!). Don’t forget that we always offer 15% off class supplies!
• Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session for 4 sessions.
