Sheath Dress-meets 3 times

The Zoe by Sew Over It is a semi-fitted dress with beautiful, unusual design lines. It features princess seams at the front and back, which gently sculpt the dress to your body, and a french dart to fit the dress at the bust. Zoe comes with two sleeve length options – a shorter sleeve, perfect for summer or underneath cardigans, and a classic 3/4 length for cooler weather. The dress closes at the centre back with a neat invisible zip, and the front princess seams house the very important, in-seam pockets!

We recommend tracing your pattern onto Swedish Tracing Paper prior to class. If you need someone to take your measurements accurately please ask a craft associate when you come in for your supplies. This may be the perfect project to create a wearable muslin!

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  Intermediate. This is NOT your first garment. You’ve made other clothes in the past and are excited at the prospect of installing an invisible zipper.
• We provide:  The studio space, machines, super cool invisible zipper feet, tools and expertise.
• You bring:  Fabric you love! Recommended fabrics are: chambray, lightweight denims, poplin, stretch cotton/sateen, lightweight wool, medium crepes - avoid rayon. Your total yardage is totally dependent on your size and style (short sleeve, 3/4 length sleeves), lightweight fusible interfacing for the facing, coordinating thread, a hook & eye, and a copy of the pattern (available in the store). Don't forget that we offer 15% off materials purchased for any of our classes.
• Class length: 3 hours each session for a total of 9 hours.
