Matting Change
gather here Classes
Learn to crochet sleeping mats using single use plastic bags for young people experiencing homelessness. Audrey Lin’s senior project, Matting Change, focuses on organizing and facilitating community workshops to create these sleeping mats with an end goal of 60 mats to be distributed by Y2Y, a shelter for young people run by young people. We are thrilled to be hosting one of her events! And to encourage as much participation as possible this is a free event but we encourage you to make a direct donation to Y2Y (our August 2018 We Care Wednesday recipient).
