Mariposa Tee - Sew Liberated
Easy-to-make with delicate details, the Mariposa Tee is a stunning addition to your casual wardrobe. A great way to dabble in sewing with a knit fabric, the Mariposa features a simple construction. It uses a comfortable knit fabric for the body and sleeves, while woven fabric is used for eye-catching elements around the neck (cotton velveteen is shown.) The instructions feature a detailed guide and plenty of helpful tips for working with knits, and can be made without fuss on a conventional sewing machine.
The pattern includes instructions, assembly diagrams, and full-size pattern pieces for Women's sizes XS-XL .
Main Body: Knit Fabric such as jersey knit
Front/Back/Shoulder Yokes: Lightweight woven fabric (2 different fabrics can be used for contrast if desired)
Lining: Lightweight woven fabric (backed satin, silk charmeuse or other similar fabric make a beautiful lining but are only suggested for more experienced sewists.
