Juneteenth - CLOSED

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865 Major General Gordon Granger came to Galveston, Texas, to announce the end of the Civil War and slavery. Although slavery was already abolished more than two years earlier by the Emancipation Proclamation, it continued in some areas. It is a reminder that “none of us are free until all of us are free.”

We’ll be closed Monday, June 20, 2022 in observance of Juneteenth. This is a paid federal holiday and we hope that other small businesses will follow suit.
