Improv Color Play - 2 sessions

Explore the art of improvisational quiltmaking with this intensive workshop that focuses on color play. In this class, we will riff on a traditional motif of your choosing and create a composition that sings with color. You will learn skill building piecing techniques and how to apply color theory in an exciting and intuitive fashion.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 50% enrollment required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
  • Level: All skill levels are welcome.  You are confident operating a sewing machine as well as a rotary cutter.
  • We provide:  The studio space, tools and expertise.
  • You bring:  Fabric you love! 8 fat quarters - a mix of both solid and print. 1/2 yard of a fabric that will be your dominant/unifying fabric; we offer 15% off materials purchased for any of our classes.
  • Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session for a total of 5 hours.

Sessions run on February 20 & 27 at 3pm & are in person only.

Please note this class is IN PERSON ONLY
In person participants must be symptom free to enter the store and attend in person.
Masks are required for all guests inside gather here, regardless of vaccination status.
