Hinterland Dress - 3 sessions

gather here Classes

The Hinterland Dress offers a timeless, comfortable, and elegant silhouette. Featuring three sleeve options, either partial or full button down plackets, customizable length, and inseam pockets, this is a pattern workhorse that spans the seasons. The fit is loose, with side bust darts and a gathered skirt with optional waist ties, and is easily modified for maternity and nursing. Don’t feel like buttons? Cut the front bodice on the fold for a placket-free hack. This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners. You will learn how to sew bust darts, bias facings, inseam pockets, button plackets, and inset sleeves.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
  • Level:  Advance Beginner-Intermediate.  You know how to thread a machine, sew a straight line and wind a bobbin. You have made some basic garments (pajama pants, the Scout tee, Rae Skirt, Washi Dress) before. This is NOT your first garment.
  • We provide:  The studio space, swedish tracing paper, tools and expertise.
  • You bring:  Fabric you love!
