Crochet Lacecap Hydrangea Shawl CAL - 2 sessions

gather here Classes

Shawls aren’t just for knitters. We were looking for a crochet-a-long project that would help you expand your crochet skills but also would be a beautiful piece you'd want to show off for years to come. We chose the Lacecap Hydrangea Shawl (previously the Succulent) by Michele DuNaier for it's lovely repeating lace in a DK weight yarn. This side-to-side shawl begins at the right corner and is worked across in ever-increasing rows to the left side. The lower right edging is worked as a part of the Body rows, and the lower left edging is worked as a row of chain spaces on top of the last Body row.

Limited to 5 students (16yrs of age or older).
  • Level: adventurous beginner/intermediate - you feel good holding a crochet hook. You’ve successfully taken Crochet Basics or the equivalent.
  • We provide: the space and the expertise
  • You bring: yourself, a copy of the pattern (available as a Ravelry in-store download), approximately 550 yards of any DK weight yarn but it is designed for Mojave (a vibrant cotton/linen blend), a size F and G crochet hook, and a tapestry needle.
  • Class length: 2 hours each session for a total of 4 hours

Sessions run on Tuesday, July 11 and 18 at 6 PM

Online participants will:
