Make a Mask (or 10)

With the help of Stephanie Cave in JPStitch House Dorchester, and Sullivan's Pharmacy in Roslindale we are collecting fabric face masks made by local stitchers. A drop off bin will be available between 12-6 PM. We ask that you bag your finished masks before you place them in the bin.

There is so much information out there about the style and type of mask that various health care providers may use. We designed a one piece mask that a filter could be inserted into and that is an accessible pattern for confident beginners/intermediate stitchers.

These kits include enough quilting cotton fabric (& elastic) to make 10 masks, & a printed copy of the written instructions.

    • The video tutorial is available here.
    • More pro tips are available here.

NOTE: you do NOT get to pick your fabric or the color of the elastic. It is random and there will be enough to make 10 masks.
