Launching: We Care Wednesday

Post-election we asked ourselves how we might better serve our community. gather here has always been more than a boutique fiber shop and as small business owners, we are aware of how local spending can enrich the neighborhood. We have met some of the kindest and most generous people in workshops and just hanging out at the front counter. We know investing in the community is important to all of you, too.

Give Warmth

We are happy to be collaborating with EMPath (Economic Mobility Pathways) this holiday season to help give the gift of warmth to parents living in shelter. Kickstarter Backer Feature: Molly Akin

Above: Molly's daughter, Freya, in her latest Geranium Dress.

Today we'd like to introduce you to Molly Akin. Molly is the Director of Marketing & PR for the Cambridge Arts Council. We've loved having Molly in class and learning about Cambridge's public art collection, Open Studios, and upcoming exhibits. In the three hours of cutting and sewing in a workshop, there's time to learn about one another and our contribution to the community.
